Use Cases

Online Account Registration and Mobile Banking

As financial services and transactions are largely performed online, facial recognition provides quick, and frictionless enhanced security and authentication. FaceMe® can be used to prevent identity theft while using mobile devices, PCs and kiosks’ 2D cameras, preventing hackers from spooking identify. For online banking services conducted using web browsers, FaceMe® provides an HTTP API that enables integration of anti-theft mechanisms into web portals.

ATM Security

FaceMe® supports mainstream 3D depth-of-field cameras that use technologies such as Stereo, ToF, and 3D structural light. Depth-of-field data from 3D cameras provide extremely reliable and instantaneous authentication, greatly enhancing anti-theft measures.

When integrated into ATMs, FaceMe® ensures faces are recognized accurately before authorizing money withdrawals, preventing the use of photos or videos, and even identifying if someone is standing too close behind a customer.
